Auric'sAirconge Keeping Up With Technology

Air conditioning technology has developed quickly over the last decade and it is therefore important to choose the right type and size of air conditioning system for your home. This is where we can help.

A typical home air conditioning installation is a standard split system which requires an indoor air unit and an outdoor compressor unit, connected by piping and electric cable, which allows the refrigerant, a cooling agent used in refrigeration products, to flow to and from each unit. During this cycle, the air from a room is pulled into the air conditioning unit and travels over the evaporator coils. This process cools the air and pushes it into the room through the indoor air conditioning vents. The air continues to circulate around until a specific temperature is reached. This temperature can be amended remotely by a control. When it is reached, the system shuts off to conserve energy.
